forlorn hope and deadbeat slim

Somewhere over a rainbow there lay a heap of dreams upon a field of hopes and wishes
within these dreams hide a million smiles, fears and secrets of forgotten times
there is a mine where memories are buried, past and future consequences lay around
easy to pick up but hard to put down
this is beyond the border of la la land
there are no caravan parks or shops, just endless bargains falling from the sky
never ending monolouge of sulking perpetrators within cold and blackened tv sets
DVD ran away with the spoon, not to scoop up dreams but to shoot up heroin
the mine collapses every day but is dug again every night
all things are always open in la la land, particle and waves, relatives and atomic weight…..
